in8Ed empowers Educators with the knowledge of brain function and neuroplasticity, and provides them with the ability to adapt learning environments to cater for the different learning preferences of each student.

At in8Ed we believe education can be the forerunner in shifting the way society views the next generation and how we can best provide opportunities for all of them to thrive.

in8Ed equips you with the skills to communicate effectively to students in the way they are interpreting the world. This extends from behaviour management, lesson planning, programming, and assessment – through to school structures, processes and philosophy.

in8Ed uses the simple and practical guide of the in8model to explain brain function and neuroplasticity.

  • Learn how the brain functions
  • Understand the characteristics of the different 4 parts of the brain (quadrants)
  • Identify brain function through behaviour
  • Use language that resonates with the different parts of the brain – to light up your students and empower their learning

Dr Mark Postles

Mark is the founder of the in8model® and has a profound curiosity for human beings, their behaviours and what makes them do what they do in the ways that they do them.

This enquiry led him along many paths as he explored what it was to live a genuine and authentic life. He knew that a sustainable existence occurs when people are in integrity with themselves and the world, and as this study continued it resulted in a model that he named the Integrity Model. As he delved further into the brain functions that make us do what we do, he realised that integrity is an innate function, hence the model was renamed to the in8model®.

As a speaker, business coach, professional development expert, chiropractor and author, his goal is to touch hearts and inspire as many people’s lives as he can with his vision of hope for humanity.

The in8model® is a road map and a method for navigating this journey from the innermost depths of the cerebral cortex to the outermost reaches of the cosmos.

There is a saying, “Give a man a fish, he is hungry again in an hour. Teach him to catch a fish, and you do him a good turn”. It is clear to me that when Chelsea Horner says her life purpose is to inspire people to unleash their potential, she means it, and aims to do so in a practical, lasting way. Her background as an educator means she looks for solutions that impact student learning for life and inspires teachers to improve their own practice.

Chelsea presented two sessions on neuroplasticity and the In8Model at our recent Christian Worldview Symposium. Her sessions were by far the most requested, and she presented unique insights for teachers about how their students’ minds work, adapting their learning environments to cater for student needs, and better managing behaviour and expectations in the classroom. Chelsea was an engaging presenter and showed a thorough knowledge and genuine passion for her topic. We would be delighted to invite her back for future events.
